The Gates' Grand Ballroom is a premier, luxury event venue located just seconds West of the Winnipeg Perimeter and tucked away on the banks of the Assiniboine River. Offering elegant surroundings, thoughtful planning and an impeccable level of personalized service, The Gates delivers a decidedly different experience. Soaring ceilings, natural light and pristine, private grounds make the Grand Ballroom an intimate urban oasis for everything from weddings to corporate functions and galas.
The fully private Grand Ballroom has a guest capacity of up to 350 for sit-down events and up to 400 for stand-up functions. Events held in the Grand Ballroom have exclusive access to the full wrap-around Riverside Deck.
For smaller guest lists of up to 125, the Grand Ballroom can be split into a Half Ballroom with a full floor to ceiling dividing wall. Events held in the Half Ballroom also have exclusive access to the full wrap-around Riverside Deck.

mid-size guest lists, the
Riverside Deck overlooks the serene Assiniboine River behind a lush, mature treeline.
The Gates' historic restaurant can accommodate groups of 80 and under.
